SR:U is a considerable performance increase over 2020, you can actually make it 15 years before it gets too bogged down.
SR:U also allows you to play from several points fron 1936 till 2020.
SR:U does feature a much more aggressive AI
The resource differences will be a bit off-putting though. Its no longer water, its Rubber. Which I like but others have expressed their objections to that decision.
Not sure in what respect you meant this, but I still play SR2020, infact was playing it prior to typing this message. :)
Did they patch 2020 or something? Last patch was 4 years ago.
It could also be my low end I3, considering others report going 40yrs in SR:U without unbearable slowdowns. So this might just be scaling. But SR:2020 usually gets unplayable for me after about 4-5years unless it's modded to be a global war at the start.
