Ultimate vs 1939,Coldwar, and 2020

So I own all the previous 3 Supreme Ruler games from a bundle deal I got. I was just curious if its worth shelling $20-$25 for the ultimate version when I have the 3 older ones. Really curious since I'm quite new to the series.

I think so. One of the many reasons why is SR:Great War. It is currently a stand alone game, however, you can move the save game from SRGW into SRU. Furthermore, BG is working on making SRGW into a "DLC" for SRU. WWI will be a selectable start (1914/1917) directly from SRU.

I would also say that if you are refering to the 3 you have being SRCW, 1936 and older ones, that those games are not being updated like ultimate is benefiting from the GW release. Maybe 1936 is, but one of the devs did state on the CW forum that it has not gotten updates in several years. If you do go with ultimate see if theres a bundle that includes the new GW DLC release in ultimate about to be unlocked in a day. That would be a reason to shell out would be to get the fixes and tinkering they have been releasing over the past several months. I would also assume they will continue to address updates to GW that would also go to ultimate, as they have done in the past.
