Tips on how to play
I've had this game for a bit of time, but the problem is, I feel I can't achieve anything with any country, as I can't really get the economy working. Without cheats, it usually ends up badly, or really boring as it takes ages to get my economy working. I don't know what tech I should get first, or what to build.
I've played games such as Vic 2 (love the game) Supreme Ruler Ultimate and HOI3, which can be quite complicating, but I find these easier.
I've had a look at some guides, but I still don't know how to play the game properly, so if anyone could help me, it would be great.
Thank you.

Start with a nation with a strong economy. Such as GB, Germany, USA etc.

The USA should be the best choice in my opinion.
Also it is no shame to use money-cheats at the beginning, in my opinion. Just use it as buffer, so you get more time to experimentate with different options and check the result :)

You might want to invest spare money in social spendings, such as Infrastructure or Education, which will benefit your economy/people extremly.

Basiclly: Just play the game. Test everything in. There is no better way than by learning by doing :)
When you messed something up, you might think "Ok, doing XY was not a good idea at all. How can I improve that? Hmm... let's try XZ!"

.

Are you asking about a game other than SRU as you seem to indicate you play Victoria II, SRU and HOI III and find these three games easy?

No, I'm comparing SRU to these games, as they are some of the games I play that are similar to SRU

I am not a "professional" you tuber, just a old guy playing this game who tries to help. They may be rough, but they should get the point across.

NOTE: There are no ads and my channel is NOT monetized in any way. Just easier than typing a bunch of guides.
