anyone uses hell organ`s?
Hello people,

as the title said, i just want to know if someone really uses them. I tried a few times,
but the sound seemed to be wrong and never i got controle of a creature. So far i
progress without them good too, playing on hard and catched the druid and adamant
with ease.

Anyone knows how these things really works? Do i have to catch the creator of the
specified beasts first to know "there" melody? And i remember one mission were one
of these organ`s was on a roof spot with no way to it... did i oversaw something? Is
there a teleport spell?

Thanks for the help and infomation :)

Yes, afaik you have to know the melody for a certain monster type before you can control it with an organ. And the monster has to be inside of the circle the moment you play the organ.
Alas I've never uses the organs as I've never encountered a combat map where this actually made sense. Don't know if I did anything wrong here.

I played through multiple times, yet it seems its not worth the effort. Just like some other useless spells, skills and items that look like a waste of time.

First you need to get the melody script from one of the four creator maps, which means you would have to plan the conquer route for this effect, which conflicts with other conquer route strategies, like getting the right army or item support or the right secrets in order strategy.

Second you need to speedrush the hard to reach organ while luring the beasts into the circles. The luring seems to cost too much.

Maybe a Cassia played as a melee speed tank with shadow company could be an effective route for this. I'll give it a try another time.

I used it several times. Its an ok feature which can tip the battle to your side. Best usage was during the fight with Shinna. I destroyed the bridges first then, learned the melody and lured after that those three of those four (one I killed right off the bat) flying insectoids to the circle and made them mine. Upside was, that they went flying and visited those archers on the walls. Then just Shinna remained. It was over quite quickly..
On other maps it was always somewhat useful to have a sand witch or tree on your side. Not necessary but definitely the beginning of the end. Btw those organs on rooftops have doors underneath them which u can use to get up to them. Press V if you cannot tell at once

Ah, didn't know you could charm the insectoids too.

At least you need this to get some steam achievements. :)
