Possibilities of Ending ? *Spoiler*
I won the game as good cassia , with mirai dead and cassia dead as a one day ruler ...
I was just wondering , the corapia poison was said to make a person mad or kills it , is there an ending of mad cassia ruling over mengbila for a long time ?

No.

The writers actually gave subtle clues.

First, Cassia manufactured the signs for the Silent Legion (dialogue when you talk to her teachers at camp, final arena dialogue).

Second, there is no cure for Corapia poison (dialogue with Niobe).

Third, when Cassia falls ill, the potion she has Niobe conconct isn't a cure but a Blood Potion, which she then gives to the Silent Legion (which is why people comment why they need so much ingredients, final arena dialogue).

Fourth, Cassia really intended to rule for just one day, and taking the Silent Legion with her.

Well, i guess thats so ... thanks for saving me the time. I tried a few different dialogue for ending.

I didn't understood the Silent Legion thing, relatively soon in the game, the leader or a legion man kill a dog and then Cassia says she has decided to kill the legion.

It's just for the dog? It felt not well build.

Because of a bug in final battle never ending I never got the end but through this post lol.

During the game I really believed you had a choice between death and madness, it's a bit disapointing there's none.

Looks like all this garbage is just to kill the legion but the story doesn't provide a good reason for that. Overall it's a fairly good story and a good writing but that end isn't well done, it makes look the story as not well build and not credible.

EDIT: And why bother reign one day? It really make no sense, if really her goal was to kill the legion, once she poinsend them she just had to die, it's not working. Too bad because beside incoherent elements it's good writting, but the incohency will cancel the quality.

You don't get a choice between death or madness. Once Cassia became sick, it was established death was her fate.

It was established that the Silent Legion was fanatical, so that's one reason to destroy them. Another is to simply have an insurance policy: your army can't betray you if killing you would cause them to forfeit their life.

People aren't logical. Why reign for just one day? It was her reason for living in the dungeons, putting into practice the book on rulership she received.

I played really the end that is I did the end battle once more but took care that no enemy get petrified.

Only Mirai and Nurim survived, I suppose the mage died because I push him to link with Niobe.

Play really the end is quite different than just read the posts of this thread. I don't like much sad ending but that one is quite ok and touching. After get the end bug I put a thumb down review but now I don't have the heart to let it and will remove it. Sad end is easy trick but it's well done with a good mix of emotion and lightness, it's just missing few bits of humor, but ok.

For the fate of the Legion, it's not matching well a good Cassia because the dog part is weird.

I don't agree with your explanation, it fits better that she just wanted kill the entire legion. The dog part is supposed to give the reason, that they are purely cruel. But it's a bit weird, but I think that's the point of writers.

For the one day reign, in context of the good Cassia, then end pinpoints she free the town and eventually Mirai more or less. That's a better explanation and ok it fits overall.

If Takate dives for Mirai, he shouldn't appear in the ending.

If Nurim survives the arena fight (and you maximize his anger bonus?), he kills Zubaran.

My first playthrough Naurim gest petrified in the arena fight, so only Zubaran was alive at the end.

Ok so it's dialogs with Nurim the cause not Zubaran. But what is the exact reason? I remember a dialog with Nurim about Zubaran traitor but not really its contents and why.

I whish the game had mods and someone made nice mod allowing save Cassia. :-) I know all the point is this easy trick (well exploited) but still, it's RPG not passive reading.

For me what would have work very well is a rather hidden cause far in past of the end and allowing save her. So you had a movitation for an eventual replay, you had the sad end at first play and the refreshing rescue at replay. instead of playing some psychotic murderer to change at replay.

When RPG will learn good/evil choices aren't that much choice... I wonder.

The game has two major ending branches: Good Cassia and Evil Cassia.

Secondary ending branches (no cinematics) is whether any of the supporting characters survive:

1) sister
2) Zubaran
3) Takate
4) Naurim

There's really Good and Evil ends? How run the Good End it seems totally compatible with an Evil end beside very few details, like in final combat get an encouragement from a commonner, and one line or two of dialogs that are only compatible for a good Cassia. I don't name that alternate ends just variations in the end.
