I would look up a valid email for Gabe Newell and write a brief summary of what's going on in your case to him. I'm sure some people think it won't get you anywhere, but I've done something similar when I was having a bad experience through no fault of my own with overstock.com. I wrote their director of operations just explaining what was happening to me, and he had it fixed in about 4 hours.
I had no problems getting the refund.
I pre purchased it a long, long time ago. Back then, it said Linux was supported.
How and when did you ask for a refund?
I refunded four days after purchase after I realised the Linux/SteamOS icon in the store was only a fake.
Having the same problem as you. Was misled. Trying to get my money back. Steam refusing.
If you played the game on Windows you might not get a refund.
I would assume you would have needed to have bought the game when it was listed for Linux, cannot ever have played the game, and you needed to explicitly state that you bought the game for Linux and that they have removed support for it.
I will try the support ticket method soon.
