Which voice acting is bad? English or Japanese?

I play this game with japanese voices, and everything seems fine to me. There are a lot of familiar voices from anime i watched. Like that blonde "Definetly a villain" dude from TV has the voice of Dio Brando from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Or Pyrogen is voiced by same voice actor who voices Okuyasu from... JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

I love the voice acting so far.

Hmmm... I don't think any of the voice acting is bad really. Rather, I think the dialogue itself is a little weak. The story elements are vague and uninteresting, all the robot bosses do is spout puns.

It is interesting to compare the English and Japanese though. The things that the robot bosses say are a bit different depending on the language (since most of what they say is puns, I guess it was too difficult to translate it directly)

Japanese voice acting can't be bad, they got decent actors for it.

Oh, the Japanese voice acting is fine. Perhaps a little too typical anime or phoned in with the delivery, but they sound great.

If a game only has Japanese voice acting then i skip it for sure or demand a refund if not i noticed it before i bought it.

English seems more than good enough so far, cant say much for the story but id like to think people are not expecting Oscar level scripts here. Will go Japanese on the Hard playthrough.

If you're going to play this game at all, use the Japanese voices, if only to avoid anything that 8-4 Ltd. touches. They are truly the Left-Wing 4Kids of modern gaming. Seriously, look into how they absolutely butchered the translation of Azure Striker Gunvolt sometime.

Call me weeb if you want.
I prefer the japanese audio and text because in english version the dialogue is rewritten.
I have no idea how much is rewritten.
Maybe people should make a MOD where translate directly from japanese.

Concept should have hired better translators.
If I were Concept I would cut english dub and put more money to find better translator.

The English voice acting is fine and you would probably recognise most of the characters if you heard a voice clip from them this time next year.

Disappointing exception, Beck whose voice is bloody everywhere and always exactly the same.

Even though I prefer the Japanese dub, I gotta say I am quite impressed with Mighty No 9's voice acting, considering Mega Man's notorious history of mediocre to downright awful English dubs. The only exception would be Ray; I just do not like her English VA.

I decided to buck the trend and play with French voices. Not a big fan of Japanese language and the English dub is simply ghastly.

I don't know about the japanese voice, the english one is quite bad, french voices are even worst. Seriously, they should kill the voices and redo them ASAP. It sound worst than an high school project...
