has anyone played the ray dlc?

ive spent a large chunk of time playing this game. it took 6 hours, but i beat the game with beck and i went into rays dlc. at first, it was miserable, but when i got a weapon, it got much easier. now, im stuck at the final boss with no idea how to go about beating it without getting a game over. has anyone given it a go yet?

i havnt even beat any of the mighty numbers as ray...tried 1, 2 and 7. I started 7 with Beck...but the close range and the detiorating health doesnt help that ray has. I'm probably too tired..will try again in the morning...gonna keep hacking away at 7...his level is probably the easiest..just..the boss is my only problem

i started with mighty 8. the level was the problem for me. the boss hardly ever hit me. mighty 6 goes down so fast with his weakness, never do mighty 1 without the weakness. youre fighting a monster who can one shot you up close when youre only option is weak upclose. ray ♥♥♥♥♥ everyone up when you have their weaknesses from what i can tell, just the final boss, ive yet to find one.

couldnt help but post this, but i finally beat the game with ray. it was hard, but i found dynas weapon works best.

Ray makes for a really neat change of pace - you have to play a bit more aggressively, but also time your kills so that they get you the most bang for their buck on some of the longer stages. The latter isn't a big deal on the majority of stages, but occasionally you'll find yourself with lower health than you might have wanted; a good example is on Shade's stage if he decides to teleport several rooms away behind you, you may have wanted to leave one or two enemies on your way to where you currently are, so you can pick them up later.

Again, not generally a big deal, but it changes up your rhythm a bit. If you're really fast and/or efficient it won't affect you too much (I know I'm not either of those things yet).

Mostly I enjoy Ray for her Getter-1+Black Getter+Zero+Protoman factor.
