cloud saves were enabled briefly but disabled due to many complaints about saves getting overwritten.

reason it was disabled is because people would start webfishing on a different device after cloud saving was enabled, it'd upload the blank save to the cloud then when launched on the original device it'd overwrite the actual save with the blank save that was uploaded. this is a steam issue and has happened to various games in the past (Silent Hill 2 Remake being a recent notable one).

you can see that cloud saves are disabled by checking the game's properties and seeing that there's no cloud options.

Ok so then when I moved PCs it still had it. Maybe it will return. if its a Steam issue, maybe lamedev or the players of Webfishing should bring it up to them.
