Size prefix sometimes doesn't show?

I have a .15 cm King Salmon, but it doesn't say it's microscopic or have any other size prefix. I noticed this with other fish too where there is no prefix even when it's clearly much smaller/bigger than normal. Is this a bug or just how the game works?

Yes, I had a 0.18 cm frog without microscopic or any other prefix. This was like 2 months ago. I'm not sure if it's intended behaviour or not, I would imagine something that small should have a microscopic tag, thing was smaller than a pixel lol.
