Decreased Alpha rates in the Void?

Going for the 100% and trying to fish an Alpha CREATURE is difficult as I assumed it would be, but even encountering an Alpha in general while here is extremely rare in comparison to fishing outside of the Void. In the past 180+ bait I've used (subtract a healthy amount from the extra bait used by the Sparkling Lure), I've only encountered 2 total Alpha fish. How does everyone else compare? Am I just unlucky?

Sparkling lure doesn't give more stars, that's a common misunderstanding

TLDR: alpha creature is about 1 in 1000, you cannot change this, so just fish as fast as possible and don't bother with buckets because you can't get them that way. soda + attractive angler is the way

1 in 20 fish via rods will be alpha
1 in 50 fish via rods will be creature

Just gotta hit both at once. 1 in 1000.
