Need Some Golden Manta Ray Advice

I need some advice for getting this mf - I've put about 10 hours in already and I can't seem to get the normal quality of it?? Any advice? :(

You can catch them with about anything but the golden lure has the best catch rate for them afaik

I've personally caught all of my Golden Rays from the pier by the prop shop so maybe try there. You can also use Golden Lure if you level up your town hall a bunch and the Golden rod as Turtle said

i'm assuming you already are using crickets so you want to get up from your chair and find a four leaf clover and while you're at it a horseshoe and then maaaaybe you'll be lucky enough to get it

I was able to get ONE golden manta ray from my fishing buddy.

ton of luck, fish more

sparkling and golden hook have the highest chance for them, afaik. it's simply a really, really low chance. hence...golden fish. they're probably amongst the rarest in the game for longevity's sake
