Good common sense steps imo, akin to what you suggested and that ive seen implemented elsewhere.
HOWEVER ultimately online chatroom games like this are inherently extremely unfitting and dangerous for children and only so much can reasonsbly be done, especially by a solo dev. (Roblox still has massive issues with predators) This game may have a cutesy artstyle but it is very apparently not targeted to kids with a lot of the jokes, and content. Trying to make it kid friendly 100% is fruitless and kids should prob be discouraged from playing any game like this. BUT since children are bound to play making it harder to encounter adult discussion is reasonable. I think the suggested changes are warranted and wouldnt come at a detriment to the adult users.
Also yes I couldn’t agree more chat rooms are inherently bad for children, just look how people who grew up on them turned out.
