No gameplay update for awhile?

There hasn't been anything added in terms of gameplay for such a long time, game is boring and has had 0 new content added besides supposed fixes and lots of community arguing.

Do you guys think the game isn't getting any updates anymore or is the game just going to get holiday sized updates.

I doubt this was made thinking "I bet I can make bank on this!". In other words its more of a Hobby and no matter how much its liked, argued about, or demanded, unless the Dev says "I think this would be a fun idea and ID like to add it" it wont happen. Its $5 for crying out loud. Love it or leave it.

Just because a game isn’t getting additional content doesn’t mean it’s abandoned. Not every game is going to get additional dlc or expansions- though it would be nice if we had more cosmetics and/or fish added in the future.

this exactly. appreciate the amazing game one person was able to launch and allow people to add mods to it as well. its gonna be a while if this game ever does get more updates. its also only $5 lol

the more we complain about or hate on the developer the less likely we're going to get any more updates, quality of life or otherwise. this isn't AAA, this is a single person who had an incredible idea they probably never dreamed would resonate with so many people. they also mentioned in the latest change-log they've had health issues, if you cared to take a second to read.
yes i want updates, yes i think they've earned tons of money, yes i think its a good idea to prioritize these things for longevity. alongside this, i don't think making whiney ungrateful posts will do anything at all. go touch grass.
