lost my save data!!!

moving to a new computer from my gaming laptop, i realized that my old save data has been entirely lost :( is there a way to fix this? i thought that there was cloud saving like every other game so i was really upset to see all my progress gone...

Is there a way for you to transfer files, either through a USB stick or digitally (small files can often be tossed into email and sent to yourself, or via an app like discord, heck even if you have Nexus Mods you can upload your save file under "save file" and there you have it XD)?

Or do you mean your gaming laptop no longer has ANY files? Usually, even if you uninstall a game, Steam keeps a copy of your saves in local files that will only be deleted if you delete the entire folder for the game itself.

I know it's probably too late for you, but:

This PC > Windows (c:) > Users > [your user name] > AppData > Roaming > Godot > app_userdata > webishign 2 newver

That's where you find your save data. Can be emailed or moved with thumb drive.
Press the Windows button and search for Appdata or Godot.

Try finding some nice people to catch and mail you expensive fish so that you can quickly buy better bait and upgrade your rod power. I helped someone start over after losing save data and it really doesn't take as long if someone helps you out.
