Does anyone use a Nintendo Switch Pro controller to play this game?

I had seen people mention playing it with downloaded controller support or something (I dont know the exact terms lol) and I was curious if it would work on my controller or not. I'm guessing not though.

Yes, with external programs you can. it might feel slightly awkward with 8-direction movement on a joystick but yeah. Unless someone has already modded in 360 movement, then that would be the best option.

I play with my controller most of the time, and while there is no official support the Steam Controller feature does a really good job at making it a viable way to play.
The only odd thing is having to control the mouse with the joystick for everything menu related, other than that it's very clean.

I use a ps4 controller, and steam's controller binds have always been hit-or-miss for me, so I use a program called ds4windows to emulate controller -> keyboard inputs. I can set up deadzones to mitigate drift and even create macros for more complicated actions. I heard theres something similar for switch pro controllers, but I don't know it off the top of my head.

Steam can innately emulate a controller to act like a keyboard, if you don't mind missing out on controller functions (gyro, analogue triggers, joysticks)

I don't like WASD controls either, but thankfully, you can change the keyboard controls by going to settings + controls.

I didn't build my computer with the sole purpose of gaming on it. I can type perfectly fine, I know the keyboard. I don't prefer to game with it. Why are you being annoying about it? Do you ever leave your house? Edit: Lonely Edgelord is right lmao

you can use steam input with big picture, some people made controller schemes for webfishing
