So I got this game literally today and decided to play a coded game with my brother to just get a hang of the ropes and play casually.

As we're playing I head the 'speaking' audio playing behind my character, but when I went to the chat I noticed my brother didn't type anything, so I turned my camera towards the noise and there's a white cat standing behind me with the name 'Seer' and it was just looking at me and mumbling..?

I got up and started to walk towards the dock where my brother was and it started slowly following me, so I stopped and just looked at it.

It slowly walked up to me before its eyes turned red and it started saying I SEE YOU over and over again.

Then it vanished.

After it left I had a letter in my inventory that also said I SEE YOU repeated over and over again. (Unfortunately I didn't screen shot it) It also had a skull item attached with the same 'I SEE YOU' name. I doesn't seem to do anything if you hold and try to use it.

Anyone know what this is? or have a similar experience?

Probably some script kiddie trying to scare you. Still better than filling up server list with lots of botted lobbies.

Speaking of similar experiences... I had one. Noticed a fully dark cat with empty username, and as I told him that I can see him, he just decided to swim away from me. I just wanted to make a frien >:

It was a fun little experience, it's just sparked so much of my curiosity now. It's cool to know that this seems to just be a thing people decide to do for the fun of it.

This exact same thing just happened to me and my friends while we were playing on a private lobby.

It left no text in the text box, left me a letter and all.

Best we think, it's someone running some crazy script to brute force passwords lmao.

I have a picture of the item it sent though!

likely a bot or hacker playing about - if its the skull item I'm thinking of, it is in the game and can lead to a special unlock if you find the other bones

I had this happen to me too! I was playing my with my friend and we saw it. I didn't even see a join message and it just showed up. It was spooky and we got the skull too.

I was streaming and we just had this happen to our lobby too. Screenshot the item and have a clip and everything. Really weird lol

It's 100% a prank, it's just happened to me live on my channel if you wanna see the clip.
Dude walked right up to us, typed "I SEE U" and then sent letters to everyone in my lobby and left.

Same here, specifically when it was raining on the dock by the extra accessory shop. I assumed it was related to the bones and having them in your inventory. In a friends only game too.
