[Bug] Popping audio constantly

Just bought the game and launched it, all sound effects and music have a constant, popping sound that is very grating to the ears. I have tried reinstalling the game several times but the issue persists, any ideas?

I really want to give this game a try so if anyone has any suggestions I will try them and report back.

mine did this as well for alittle while, not sure why, im just gunna restart it and try again later

Having the same issue. Tried restarting, uninstalling/reinstalling, but the popping is really bad. I turned all the sounds off for the game for now but I'd like to enjoy it fully.

I found a fix! Try changing your audio output do a different device, for me i have two outputs: Arctis wireless 'Chat' and arctis wireless 'game'. Switching from chat -> game worked for me (i did this in windows settings)

Thank you for this! I re-paired my headphones and that seemed to fix the audio issues!

The bitrate of your guys' audio device is different than the bitrate of the game. That's why this happens. Not your fault and entirely on the Devs, but that's what going on.

are you on linux? i thought it was just an issue with proton/wine as it happens in a couple other games. popping gets worse when playing guitar or a lot of sounds are happening at the same time.
