Nameless Silhoutte Sightings

Been playing and every now and then a full black cat with no eyes, mouth, or anything really joins the server. No name and the direct to Steam ID just doesn't work. Never seen it join at spawn, just kinda phases into existence on the paths. It walks perfectly along them centered, bit too much to be a player. It walks along the map and either leaves or jumps into the ocean and dies then leaves. Anyone else been seeing this thing?

When I went to their steam profile, their profile pic is dark but there's even dark lettering if you look close. Says "itSErmIQI7k"

That string of lettering is the end of a YouTube URL link. leads to an unlisted video named "unresolved" from "Slfa Cfpefkd". Interestingly enough that name can be a caesar cipher saying "Void Fishing". has this year's date for halloween in the description too...

I went through some other discussion posts and saw some other people have the same thing happen. one apparently spoke with them too, something about how they like fishing puns and if they ask to say you like the game. I'd love to hear more about this should anyone see it again

Most likely, though even if it’s the devs running it I think this kind of arg thing is neat.

the channel just posted again, with a video titled "10/19/24" (date of void cat's discovery) and the video shows screenshots of these threads + reddit threads, along with text at the end saying "you've seen me". Morse code in the background too, trying to decipher rn.
