My save file didn't move over to new PC :(
This is my first time trying to move files from one PC to another; I copied everything from the local files but the game is still running as if it's the first time I've played it. :((

I spent way too many hours grinding and don't really want to go through it again, is there something I might have missed or a step I need to take that I'm not aware of?

WEBFISHING has steam cloud saves disabled right now - So you need to create a backup file on your old PC, then transfer that file to the new one and inject the save file data into the steam folder. I don't know how to do it myself, but there's tutorials you can look up

check your new PC's appdata folder on the default drive then go to godot and app_userdata, Webfishing should have a folder there with the save.
search your old save and replace the new one w that one

i say check the default drive since when my pc died and i had to reinstall windows on a new drive but all original files were fine, webfishing's save data was located on the default C drive where windows was installed despite having my download path in steam set to the E: drive

this this this! i started playing on a borrowed laptop while waiting for my new one. the easiest way i could find to do this was copy the save file from the game files onto a thumb drive, then find it on the new computer and just replace it.
