boxing glove not working

both of my boxing gloves dont work on anybody, i can be hit but no matter what i do i cant hit back. any ideas what happened? seems like a bug or something.

They probably have griefing turned off in their settings.

nope, it works on literally nobody. even people who other people can punch. this seems to be an issue with me or my glove.

Have you installed any mods? The mod "Antilag" hard-disables the player being able to punch others as a part of it's performance boosts

You can punch other people while having griefing turned off.

update: uninstalling the anti-lag mod solved the problem
