I think it’d be really cool if there were some way to change your in-game username without needing to change your steam name! I think a nickname feature in servers or before joining would be greatly appreciated.

and people can just view your steam profile from in-game anyways

as someone who loves changing nick names youll confuse people if you keep changing your name on steam. though probably useless I don't think its a bad thing.

I too would like custom in-game nicknames for the bits and memes, mostly. Why hasn't steam done that? Did Discord patent the tech for having global and context-specific usernames or something?
