Rank 50 reached, over 2000 fish caught, and no Bull Shark.

Using Nautilus bait and using the Sparkling or Large lure in Freshwater....

Can we please have some form of bad luck mitigation for fish we haven't caught yet? Or a special Lure that increases chances of catching an unknown fish which can only be bought if you own all other Lures? Because this is getting ridiculous.

I have caught almost every star of every other fish, and MULTIPLE golden fish, but I haven't seen a single Bull Shark.

EDIT: AFTER FOUR GOLDEN FISH AND ALMOST GETTING EVERY STAR RARITY OF FRESHWATER FISH, I FINALLY CAUGHT A BULLSHARK!

Feels like how some people can't seem to catch bones. I've caught bones but no bullshark.

Bullshark is all I need for at least 1 fish of every kind, but it looks like I'm going to get all stars of every other fish before I catch a Bullshark.

i feel your pain... i was grinding for an Opulent Bullshark for 2days... i gave up and grind for another thing... but the bullshark suddenly came up in my bucket...
now im hunting for Bones

It is kinda funny how this game has a sorta grind to it, like it took me days to get the sea turtles for my herbal eyes and it felt really satisfying but then you have bones being rare.

Yeah the RNG seems about as cursed as the one running shuffle mode in my Sansa Clip, which seems to get hung up on certain songs and albums but never play others at all. I've got Bullsharks for days, but there's some saltwater fish that still hasn't come up (IDK what it is as I haven't gone reading the lists...) even though I've also caught nearly 2000, and like others I haven't even caught a bone or got all the rain fish yet.

It seems maybe a bit cheaty to deliberately influence the game to favour filling out your journal for you, as realworld fish wouldn't give you that benefit, but if the probabilities really are that heavily skewed, or the particular RNG in use is maybe a bit jank even just for picking between about 256 items max, a small and gradual skew towards whatever's still missing in your journal could be justifiable?
