TON 618?
As a black-hole fan, I was wondering if TON 618 was included in the game. Though, I cannot seem to find it. Is it yet to be added, or is it in the game, but with another game?

Not specifically, and it wouldn't work very well - there is no data about the galaxy around that black hole, and for the black hole to have accurate properties, it would need to be specified separately from the galaxy, but due to how catalog star systems are positioned in SE, trying to place a black hole in the center of a galaxy over 10 billion light-years away would probably lead to it being located in some random part of the galaxy, far from the center.

And just as you could ask about adding this object, you could easily ask about thousands or millions of others. And sure, any of them could be added, but they all have to be added manually and tested, and that takes a significant amount of time and effort, and we simply don't have the human resources to do that.

The best thing you can do is add it yourself, and submit the catalog scripts to be included in the program. Then we can quickly test it to see if it works properly, and if it does, we can include it.
i know i am 3 years late but im also planning to get this game soon and i wanted to know about TON 618 but thanks for the answer!
TON 618 has been in SE for ~1 year now.

Oh :steamsad:. Are there plans to add it in a future version of the game?

Oh :steamsad:. Well, it makes sense: if there is no data about its galaxy, it would be hard to place it properly. Even if I can add it, I think I shouldn't because of that same reason: this game is so scientifically accurate that I don't wanna risk doing something not accurate.

Anyways, thanks a lot for the answer and for the info :steamhappy:

Apparently everything is a 1:1 scale, how does that work?

I don't understand your question.

Are there any plans on adding Pehnoix-A instead of adding TON-618?
