Random planets/starts, etc have turned completely blue
Looks like a grfx anomoly. FOr instance: one of Jupiter's moons suddenly is completely dark blue when casting a shadow on the planet. Also, when rotating around them, some planets or stars turn completely blue (not shadows). Verified file integrity, no mods installed, vid card (etc) up to date. I know for a fact some of these planets (etc) were NOT completely blue previously. It's like the round shape of the planets(s) are being filled in by a color.
Is there a grfx setting I should tweak? I've tried many, and also played with filtering obects in or out.
THanks.

Can you share a screenshot of the issue? Also, please provide your log file as described in the pinned troubleshooting post.

Not sure how to share a screen shot on these forums. I've tried this before and the forums don't allow me to attach screenshots. IS there an online forum I can post it to?
I took a screenshot, tried copying and pasting it HERE...nothing.
Below is the page-url (the link? I'm not web-savvy) for my screenshot. It's the only space engine screenshot in my group of screenshots. You can see the l;arge blue circle on the Jupiter surface. SOmetimes planets appear all blue, sometimes stars, or asteroids...it's like certain shapes are all filled in with this dark-ish blue color.
The upper-left screenshot is the SS I'm referring to. I titled it "blue colors".

I've posted the screenshot to Space ENgine's screenshots,. To see it, sort by "most recent" and you'll see the blue circle on Jupiter's surface. THanks!

You have enabled "Eclipse totality mask" in Settings > Filter objects, you can disable it. It's a feaure meant to highlight the shadows from eclipses

Hey Brent I don see a log or screenshot from you can you elaborate on the issue your having and post the needed info.

For the log file:
  1. Right-click on SpaceEngine in your Steam library and select "Manage" from the drop down menu.
  2. Choose "Browse Local Files." This will open the installation folder for SpaceEngine.
  3. Navigate to the "system" folder.
  4. You should see a file called "se.log" within the folder. Note that by default, Windows File Explorer will hide extensions for known file types, so the file may just be called "se". Attach this file to your reply.

Please email your log file as an attachment to support@spaceengine.org. Avoid using file hosting sites like Dropbox or Google Drive for sharing, as these require access permissions. However, sharing via Pastebin or GitHub is acceptable. Ensure your email includes the name you use on the forum in the subject line and a link to your forum post in the email body.
