Fly out so you can see the whole Galaxy, hit the G key twice (fast like a double click) which will center your camera on the middle of the Galaxy then just start flying straight into it. Most galaxies have a star cluster in the center so when you see that start slowing down and eventually there will be one star in the center of your screen. Keep slowing down so you don't fly past it. That is the black hole.

I haven't played in years, so my info might be outdated. But as far as I can remember, when you select a galaxy then the distance displayed is taken from the centre of that galaxy (typically the supermassive black hole, unless it's a small irregular galaxy). So you just fly closer and closer towards the centre so that the distance indicator goes lower and lower until you can find the black hole. I don't know if it has changed though or if there are better ways, but that's how I did it in the old version some years ago.

On the past versions, ctrl + g takes you straight to the center, yet to test the new one

Ive been looking aswell, but as far as I have found, they dont appear in game, because they are still being worked on.
I believe you can summon them with specific scripts, which I have zero idea of.

Ctrl-G, except for certain catalog galaxies which have catalog central black holes (those you find in the F3 menu).

I wonder if the game still likes to crash when zooming to a galactic center. It did quite frequently for me back in 0.98, but I haven't done it much in 99.

It never does for me, but I haven't had that problem in SE for many years.
