Update Schedule
In trying to be as transparent as possible, my goal is to release a new update weekly if possible. If I'm not able to release an update I'll post and let everyone know. I'll post here any info I can on upcoming updates.

Update#1
This is the first, the original, the most important update.....so far. Based on the initial feedback I got the biggest addition is the new ability to jump onto the stairs, jump up the stairs, and be able to fall onto the stairs.

The way it works is similar to the way you jump through the stairwells and furniture, just hold down the jump button and you'll fall through, if you don't you land onto them. I've also opened up the stairwells to make a little more room for the stair jumping.

Bug Fixes
Player and zombies can no longer walk up/down beyond stairs
Player can no longer walk through the bottom floor
Slight pause before Kill traps begin
Room 1 Kill trap no longer hurts you before fully deployed
Health found between rounds no longer slides away
Room 7 Zombies don't climb up the side of the room
When using XBox controller aiming up is improved

Misc
Fog/Smoke comes in from side exits of rooms when open
Larger Stairwells

Great update. My survival time nearly doubled. Doesn't make it "easy" either, just less frustrating. The movement feels much smoother now.

Update #2 - Coming Friday 5/29
In this update you can expect plenty of bug fixes along, some small visual tweaks and the biggest addition is when you find a weapon part, a window showing your current weapon and parts pops up so you no longer have to remember what your current parts stats/features are.

Just a heads up that Update#2 is delayed by a couple days. It should be up soon tho and still expect #3 at the end of next week.

A few days late but a few bugs lighter. It's update #2.

Biggest addition is the Current Kill Machine info window! It shows up whenever you find a new part to remind you of your current parts. There

Features
  • Current Kill Machine info window

Bug Fixes
  • Blur no longer lasts once you die in the circus room
  • Full screen freeze issue
  • in between rounds now last full 7 sec (would skip 1 sec previously)
  • Can't jump through side walls
  • Added graphic for secondary launcher weapon

Misc
  • new graphics for the various muzzle flashes and empty shells
  • more screen shake

It's update #3.

In this update I have made the initial zombies weaker and added a couple tiers of zombie toughness! This should help everyone get off to a faster start, but the difficulty ramps up quickly!

Balance
  • Initial Zombies require a single shot to kill with basic ammo (2 shots with pellet)
  • New 3 tiers of zombies. Basic, Middle, Strongest with higher life per tier.

Bug Fixes
  • Zombies don't hurt you the instance you enter a room
  • No more insta-death upon entering a room (I hope)
  • Exiting room3 now takes you to the correct room

SURPRISE!!! It's mid-week update #4! Since I was late on the last couple updates I tried to be early on this one, and it's a good one!

Features
You can now find something you may not want to find when searching between rounds

Weapons
Added 2 new magazine types
Added 2 new stock types

Balance
Changed the layout of room#4 so you can more freely move around

Bug Fixes
Max ammo graphic updates to show the actualy max ammo
BoxFace appears behind arm instead of in front
During your 1st run between rounds the weapons menu no longer freaks out
KillTraps now start everytime you are warned one is starting
Ballons can no longer be shoulder charged off screen/through walls
The undead can no longer be shoulder charged off screen/through walls

A minor update was released to Update#7 Fixed a couple issues in regards to level starting points, and picking up melee weapons.

It's still progressing (albeit just slower than I would have liked). That last update was the Halloween update. I'm currently working on the Boss Fight update. Sometimes I take on paid projects that last anywhere from a few days to a couple months to help me be able to keep developing which makes me split my time, but I'm always putting as much time and effort as possible into room13 (still my #1 priority). Thats why sometimes there's a longer break between updates. This next one is inherently going to take longer just because its a massive one.

I don't see the halloween update posted here, had I seen something about an update in october and not since july I probably wouldn't have even inquired. But thank you for your transparency, keep up the hard work.
