Continually falls through on the 2nd level

On the second level sunny hill something, the character keeps falling through the ground after the first checkpoint. Any suggestions how to fix this or is this a development bug?

well seems like a bug, as the learning land i tried and ran into a mushroom, jumped once.
bounced me up, 2nd time fell thru and 3rd time i left the game area free falling lol.
