And what with the LINE tension meter then, and fish swimming at 0.0 meter? This is very wrong!
You know what I think, I think the team does a joke on you :D
The suggestion that we change the setting to real time to stand a better chance is not that great a solution. Sessions can be quite long already, and to increase the time scale would make the the amount of time you need to spend in the game quite unbearable. It's a huge sacrafice of your time just to be able to use three rods.
There is also no mention of losing fish when battling on a single rod.
This happened to me at the Observatory on the online tournament where fish were escaping during fights with drag at very low levels.
Strangely though, this did not happen at St John's Lake at the weekend where the fish were a lot bigger.
I have no Problems with Fish escaping. i am to slow and the fish spit out the hook before i can grab the rod....my fault.
But i have a problem with this.
The Fish is hooked, the tension meter is blue and i have a good fight.
And then......

Whats happening in this video? Can you explain this?
Well i would say it's because you are playing the fish like you are sea fishing.. it probably does not help, the hook will come lose if you fish like that irl.

coming on terrain fish and flying fish (0.0 meter) is very wrong and results in losing fish and disappointed anglers
Just a friendly reminder :)
also under ground fish are back
still think his tension was way too high.
I usually set my tension to 14, then to 16/18 to tire out the little fishy and then if the tension raises drop it down, then lower down the rod vertically. not always helps, but i find more fish break free over 20. and rod straight up
They are not staying on as long as before the update, but it is a lot longer than the rididulous 5 seconds or so with the old profile. I can actually reel in a fish and switch to the other rods.
I can't be totally certain. Perhaps someone else can give it a go.
I get a take, strike and it says good strike but the line goes slack and i have to hold the rod high and reel in every time hoping the line will get tense before the fish spits the hook. Its ridiculous in real life the line doesnt go slack after you strike! wtf is that about? i just quit the game because of this. The game isnt exactly realistic on the whole anyway you'd think they can get at least the striking physics right.
The reason I have confidance this will be fixed is because, after the game is rocksolid, the "New Fish DLC Packs (nfdlcp) will begin, and they CANNOT begin until the game is "rocksolid".
This game will be the Train Simulator for Fish species, I don't mind, I personally am looking forward to Trout. (fly rods too maybe?)/
