How many species are available?

Hey guys!
I come from arcade fishing games, like Big ol' Bass 2. I like collecting species on the few fishing games I had the pleasure of playing. Now, I want to try Euro Fishing.
So I ask: Is there any way to see the fishes I caught after I catch them? How many different species are there available to me?

Catfish, carp (common, mirror, leather, ghost) roach, tench, bream

They will add more i assume op, next will be pike i think hopefully, also look at the screenshots section for the pose after a catch.

I have the game on pc and xbox1 , it's very enjoyable when you feel like spending a bit of time relaxing, and well worth the money esp in a sale.

i see it's 5.99 right now.. grab it while you can.

True it is a nice addition but I wish that whole process from netting to recasting was sped up for tornament purposes. Don't need to see the fish in all it's glory just cuaght 12kg mirror on the netting page would suffice and back to casting out :)

One last question. The fishes we get are available somewhere to be seen? Like a livewell or tank?

no nothing like that, if you catch a named it shows in a list when and where, but no capture and hold tank.

There'll be plenty of fish & gear for those w/deep pockets. DLC is Dovetail's Modus Operandi. In over a year, we've gotten just enough to keep the roar to a minimum. It'll end up a Pay-to-Win, of sorts. [You want bigger/more fish in the tournies? You buy better gear and baits, just like in real life. A true simulation. Your pockets even shrink.]

and there's me thinking you only need to hack to win tournies. Seems par for the course these days. :D

Oh, but without a "pokedex" of caught fish I'd feel kinda empty playing it. I wanted to keep my best fishes so I could look at them and show my friends.

If you look on your profile there is a angler profile which tells you which boss fish you have caught with pictures. It's no live well but it tracks your progress.
