Whats your best class?

Still havn't beaten it yet but the farthest I got was with a Battlemage - ended up getting rocked in a room with 2 red Beholders and some armor dudes.

I have all classes unlocked except the Warlock I think and I'm wondering what a good class is.

The Warlock is probably my favourite for trying to do full runs. He gets an extra life when all his demons are upgraded, so even if you die you can still progress.

Barbarian is what I suggest for new players, since his weapon has such long reach and he is a bit of a damage spnge.

But for general play, I normally stick to the plain old adventurer. Boring, but I like it. :)

I did beat the game a bit ago and it was as the Pirate - truth be told I rarely made use of his Cannon and only found like 3 bottles of Rum the entire game (that includes his starting one). Though, I think I ran into 1 or 2 giant Kegs that I could get drunk off of.

Got lucky on finding a Vault that spanwed like 4-5 chests and ended up with Swordman's Belt that makes you attack quickly + got a high damage hammer weapon that breaks shields, think it was called the Shieldbreaker. That hammer + Chain Lightning spam while riding a Magic Carpet got me victory!

Was stuck with Midas' Touch curse about midway through and thought the game was over because that means no more healing from food pickups. :o

Beaten it as Adventurer Babarian and battlemage...BM is the most fun but also kind of the hardest as he cant roll and his abilitys are quite weak (besides TP and Wall) if you dont find spell damage equip.
On the other hand his stats are good so meh

Pirate is the best imo. He has the same strength as the Barbarian with faster move speed and only 10 less vitality. Not being able to equip shoes is much better than not being able to equip armor. The available armors are so much better than the shoes. Plus getting drunk of rum or kegs is an instant full heal, plus a full regen in 2 more rooms. Bonus kick and stomp damage is also great. And the parrot doesn't hurt, even if the speech bubbles are large and annoying.

I think the Best Class for Combat is Assassin, he's Incredibly Safety Smoke Screen makes him 'Invincible'.

and his Assassination is provide to One-Shot One-Kill to Players, Very Useful against Very Tough Enemies like Torturer, Living Armor, etc.

also his Double-Jump makes him free from the not bad, but Dangerable Risk of Jumping Potions.



and I think the Best Class for Survivability is Warlock, Of Course he has a Worst HP in the Every Classes but he's Immortality from building Pets makes him almost 'Infinite Life'.

even his pet's fully Growth is not to hard though.

maybe you can disagreed for Warlock's Survivability, but you will notice why I told you the Warlock is the Best Survivor when you played the Insane Difficulties.

So far my favourite has to be the Barbarian yes being unable to pick up armor is not so hot but with the higher HP pool i can risk doing stupid stuff without gatting myself killed to fast (although i can do the same as Warlock). And considering how often i find Highlander Warpaint well lets say that he quickly turns into a pretty hard hitter that still has around 50 HP if you got lucky with a Golden Banana or a Potioncabinet.

Otherwise Warlock has my vote very survivable although if your in a pickle and get killed you probably won't be able to recover to easily from that (specialy since he relies on his minions giving him extra lives). Like i got a room with 2 Beholders and 1 Wizard and it was my death since after my first death i was boned as i had not much to boot otherwise (high spellpower run). However his minions also make the Final phase of the finalboss a joke since they pretty much fill the screen with fireballs if you got all 3 of them.

That's not true. Barbarian has 5 STR more then all other classes. Pirate starts with the same STR like other classes.
