Initial thoughts after buying

-no options menu (to turn off music, play windowed, change resolution etc.)

-i like the piano music, its very lively

-tutorial was pretty good, animal team was the most confusing one lol

-encountered bug where it said "Not connected", had to exit then re-enter to become connected to servers

-after playing 2-kings vs 2-kings: I found the game actually very balanced. I thought i'd gain very high tempo with getting 2 moves per turn, but i found myself passing often bc my king was already in his best place. Or that may be because we both had 2-kings and had same number of moves :P

-suggestions:
-options menu definitely needed, at least for windowed mode and sound off, but sound slider would also be nice
-an in-match chat would be cool, but not necessary (also option to disable chat)
-being able to challenge other players. this allows you to play your friends or people you meet in-game to play best of 3 and give rematches, etc.

overall cool game, i look forward to playing more ^^

Lobby and chat during the game would be very usefull. Actually it looks like UI designers never played on any chess server.

1 I would like to save my games for future analysis.
2 More stats about players
3 Playing game with different time limits ( 5min, 3min etc )
4 How you handling players disconnections?
5 More options (turn off music, layout) seriously 3d graphics isn't so much important in board games
4 Better chess engine for training, there is so much MIT Licensee open source chess engine that can be adapted - I understand that evaulation module would be so much more complicated, but the current chess2 engine is to weak ( or i don't know how to increase it difficulty level )

Overally chess 2 rules are interesting, but to gain popularity software must be more "serious".

.) Play with a friend. This would be the most important feature for me. In another thread it has been said, that it will come soon, and I'm glad about it. I really hope "soon" is not the blizzard-definition of "soon" :D

.) Sound, as mentioned often now -> I resolved it by turning down chess 2 in the windows sound settings, so I can hear my friend in skype :D Not the most elegant solution, but it works. But, options would be nice, yes.

.) The last move of your opponent should be visible on the board. Afaik you cant see it, and it is kind of distracting, that when I come back to the board I have to look and find the last move of my opponent. OFC, in a real chess game this doesn't exist either, but I think it would make things more easy and is also common in different chess plattforms I play. Maybe you can adapt some things from them at all, if it is an improvement.

Maybe I would have had more points yesterday night, but I couldn't find the time. Really appreciate the work of the devs and the game :)

No statistics of games played.
No options.
More chesssets to chose.
