DD2 : nes version was a bit better because of the story line and also the very memorable ending sequence but the arcade game is still very solid. the double dragon 2 is my favorite one in the 3 games for both the arcade and nes version's.
DD3 : I just dislike this one in general reguarless of the platform ... I've played the genesis , n.e.s , arcade , msdos and they're just all plain bad to me. well at least the vesion we have here doesn't have the coins eating aspect of the original game.
DD2: NES all the way.... allllll the way, and there's so many versions of this game.
DD3: ♥♥♥♥ this game completely.... but if I had a gun to my head, the NES one.
Super DD or DD Returns?: I prefer DD Returns polished mechanics and extra songs, I don't prefer the soundtrack mix though.... I felt Super DD had a better assesment of which songs suited which level.... still a toss up, I usually favor DD Returns though because I can catch my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boomerang after I throw it... and knives don't one shot kill me.
DDV: Shadow Falls - LELELELELELELELELELELEL
I've never played Double Dragon games on the NES, even though I still have 2 NES systems (a 1st party NES and a 3rd party NES I found in a second hand store, boxed with a used copy of Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt!)
Double Dragon 2 is ok, but its a sad story.
