Double Dragon II Controls

Hi,
While I respect the fact that the controls for the arcade version of Double Dragon II were simplified, would it be possible to create an option to select a setting that alternates between the original layout (which had a jump button, a left attack, & a right attack) or a simple layout (the current one with a jump, punch, & kick)?

Even though the original layout was more complicated, it takes away from the experience that many of us 80's kids had playing the original arcade.

Controls that work, like, at all would be nice.
I've tried multiple gamepads and a arcade stick. The controls do not respond.

Not just this game, but all dotemu games. Having booted up Last Blade 1/2 (2 being by mystic), that woks fine.

Every game they've put up is broken, every single one. And they've walked away.

In controller settings for DD2 turn "off" the bottom option. That will allow for left & right attacks instead of punch & kick. As per the arcade game was setup.
