It's basically the deciding factor as to whether I pick up the game.
It's not crazy in-depth by any means but I feel like it's good enough. Just like the gameplay, the season mode isn't full-on sim or full-on arcade but somewhere in the middle.
If the devs did work on a sequel or a DLC update that added in some sort of dynasty mode, I wouldn't be against it so long as it didn't keep them from addressing other aspects of the game first. When you consider all the features that would make this game an even better product, a dynasty mode is way down the list for me:
Sure, the charm of the game comes reducin baseball to the core.
But I would also love to see some more options like a dynasty mode and a way to trade or change players. For example I have this one player with a remarkably low speed stat. In the end, I just do not use him. End of story. Which is sad because it takes away some of the fun. I'd appreciate an incentive to use a rotation as well as a way to get trade players.
Add in some more in-game strategy stuff like fatigue and maybe a warm-up phase for pitchers, together with the "more stadiums, more teams, more players" and I'd be happy.
Oh, and a training or tutorial mode of some kind.
