Here[supermegabaseball.com] is a bit of ammo for you guys to figure this one out ;) (Check out the full team stats spreadsheet, it won't let me link to it directly because of the word-filter :/ )
Man, I hate going up against Moonstar pitching. Had to face Sauder twice in a 4-game stretch and was lucky to get out of those games with a split.
I'm partial to the Overdogs, personally. Balanced 1-6 and a couple high-power, high-mojo bats on the bench for late game substitutions. Lots of speed too for turning singles into doubles and doubles into triples.
Best position player in the game, IMO, is either Beefcake McStevens (Platypi) or Hammer Longballo (Sirloins). Longballo doesn't really have a weakness.
All power all the time, lovin' it.
I haven't used all my staff contracts as of yet though so that's a big short fall. There are few stylists available to me yet and I need more gear suppliers to juice up the Blowfish. Their pitching is pretty sad after using the Crocodons.
Plus the logo reminds me of Bullwinkle when I was a kid :)
without power, batting at 65 ego is a lot more demanding (at least for me)
it seems to me that no matter how good your pitcher is, there's at least one inning where he's gonna give up base hits and/or homers - with the AI batters hitting pitches right in the corners or even well out of the zone
Which one is the best? I choose Sirloins all the time because of the "Super" in the big hitter, like one is big hitter and the other team is called Super big hitter or something.
Not sure if both are similar or Sirloins is actually even more powerful hitters.
