Those are strange buttons for a fighting game.Oh well, I guess the 2d fighting genre and the 3d fighting genre have more diferences than I thought.

The buttons can be rearranged from the KEY CONFIG menu anyway, so just play the way you feel comfortable.

I didn't meant the controls themselves, I meant what they control.

The inputs can be configured from the Settings program.

What I am trying to say is: what are the 4 attacks in this game? ([left kick/ left punch/ right kick/ right punch] for tekken and [horizontal slash/ vertical slash/Kick/guard] for soulcalibour etc)

The 5 attack buttons in this game are: Punch, Kick, Slash, Heavy Slash and Dust. Punch and Kick are for body attacks, Slash and Heavy Slash are for weapon attacks, and Dust is for other attacks such as launching and sweeping.
