As a work around I keep the default in game key mappings and use a game specific mouse profile to emulate them with my additional mouse buttons.
I'm fairly sure the Logitech software you use with your G300s should be able to do this.
This is not to say it wouldn't be preferable to be able to map additional mouse buttons in game though.
Am I right in thinking that is correct?
Thanks, Brad
This is what I thought, too, but the profile I made for PNFX isn't recognized in-game. I'll google a bit. Maybe I've set it up wrong in the Logitech software.
Hi Brad, I can use the left mouse button to click the keys I want to remap without problem. The problem is if I press say, mouse button 5, Pool Nation FX thinks I've pressed the mouse's right-button. It's very strange. Maybe I'm doing something wrong in the Logitech software. I'll investigate that at my end and update you. Thanks.
The executable for PoolNationFX in the Logitech Gaming Software was set to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pool Nation FX
It should have been set to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pool Nation FX\PoolNationFX\Binaries\Win64
Having made this change, the mouse profile I made is recognized in-game, so there's no need to make any changes in the Remapping list.
Sorry for taking up your time!
~Nick.
