Remapping keys to mouse buttons
Devs, please take a look at mapping keys to mouse buttons. I previously managed to map the Overhead and Power Lock functions to my Logitech G300s and fortunately those still work, but I'm having trouble mapping anything else now.

For example, in the Logitech software I assign Button 5 to M for "move ball". That alone doesn't work so in Remapping I click Button 5 to replace the M key, but PNFX changes "M" to my right-click instead! It's all very wonky.

I've seen other posts about Remapping for left-handed users, and another for a different kind of gaming mouse, so please bump Remapping up the priority list a bit. Thank you!

P.S. Please add the new Revert feature (Y) to the Remapping list. Cheers.

While not ideal, if you have a gaming mouse you can typically create profiles for games and configure mouse buttons to emulate any keystroke or mouse button.

As a work around I keep the default in game key mappings and use a game specific mouse profile to emulate them with my additional mouse buttons.

I'm fairly sure the Logitech software you use with your G300s should be able to do this.

This is not to say it wouldn't be preferable to be able to map additional mouse buttons in game though.

I'm currently looking at this now, am I right in thinking you will want to remap for example; 'Lock Power' to Mouse button 3 or something? I think the code was ignoring mouse presses as the left mouse button is used to select things on that menu. Now it should just ignore the left mouse button on that menu so you will be able to use other mouse keys to remap too.

Am I right in thinking that is correct?

Thanks, Brad

This is what I thought, too, but the profile I made for PNFX isn't recognized in-game. I'll google a bit. Maybe I've set it up wrong in the Logitech software.

Hi Brad, I can use the left mouse button to click the keys I want to remap without problem. The problem is if I press say, mouse button 5, Pool Nation FX thinks I've pressed the mouse's right-button. It's very strange. Maybe I'm doing something wrong in the Logitech software. I'll investigate that at my end and update you. Thanks.

Hey gentlemen, I've solved it, and it was an error on my part.

The executable for PoolNationFX in the Logitech Gaming Software was set to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pool Nation FX

It should have been set to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pool Nation FX\PoolNationFX\Binaries\Win64

Having made this change, the mouse profile I made is recognized in-game, so there's no need to make any changes in the Remapping list.

Sorry for taking up your time!
~Nick.
