Top end PC and the game wont load

Black screen at start and keyboard locked out, oh well back to batman

16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X PREDATOR QUAD-DDR4 3000MHz
4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 980
Windows 10 pro x64

Would of thought the game would run, looks like i am off down the refund route

We should not all have to be PC wiz`s and understand win 10 to make a game work, just for your info all drivers are up to date as well as windows been up to date, no touch screen device as i am running 2 normal HD screens, i have tried the game on each monitor as well as in compatability mode.

maybe if you posted something thast would be of some use it would help as it saves your post making you sound like a child that likes to insult for responce

A large amount of early access games dont work with windows 10. Welcome to having a new OS.

Thanks for a intelligent reply, i do not run any touch screen devices on my rig, normal tower running 2 monitors, 1920X1200 and 1920X1080.

I have tried on both screens enabled / disabled but it froze my PC on launch locking out KB and hard reset needed.

I tried everything i know in my limited knowledge from compatability mode to screen res change before launch, screens disabled one by one and all external devices unplugged etc, guess i am at a loss.

The game works on most systems.

If you outright cant get the game to load and you get a refund within 20 minutes because you are too stupid to type an error code into google, you are a child.

You have to love how some people can insult someone they dont even know, as for putting in to google the error code i would of if i had one to put in, i get a black screen and a locked up pc so no error code.

If you do not have any advise that i could use to get this game to run dont bother posting replys
with the intention of insulting people, a bit of concideration and help would of been a better idea.

I have no issues buying the game again and i am willing to try out any fixes you may suggest.

Hey Op , this game is great. If i were you i would test some other Unreal Engine 4 games, or demos out there to see if they are doing the same thing still, black screen etc etc.

If they are working correctly, than i would start disabling OnScreenDisplay programs like Msi Afterburner + RTSS , EVGA precision etc

And i read before about windows 10 and games black screen problems.

I run a lot of games and all have the setting turned up to max and i do not get any issues with any other game including trhe normal pool nation.

You mentioned peripherals...do you have any others like a Nostromo game-pad or others connected? I have had issues at times (with no error code) getting games to load properly if too many inputs have been detected for that game. Maybe it's a resolution issue as well? Just because we have nice things that can make really nice pictures out of pixels doesn't mean we should always run every game we have at those resolutions. Not trying to pick on you or belittle you. Just know I have encountered games where resolution is my downfall as well as an extra input like a Nostromo. I hope on of these options helps you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy this game.
