The time limit is definitely the worse, I think even with clicking most of my time is wasted on the pleasantries - if we need a time limit, stop the clock when the patient talks, and when we sign the form.
A better idea might be to drop the voices entirely and have patients breathing heavily, coughing/sneezing, or "blagh" noises depending on their symptoms, just to add to the sick factor. You could even play creepy sound effects when anomalies show up.
I think the totem annoyed me more. He'd repeat himself if I didn't take my medicine--but maybe I don't want to take my medicine? The medicine ain't cheap and I assume special events can occur if you keep seeing things.
This 100%. There are some days where the patients all come in with the same symptoms, but I have to pay to refill ALL my humors?
I'm in favor of removing the timer and just having it that we see X amount of patients or villagers a day. It seems like half the time folks just drop in to talk with us anyway.
Also, the grave digger didn't pay me for "assisting" someone on his list to the afterlife. I expected the money the next day, but nah.
I do like what I've seen so far. It seems like there's the opportunity for more choice compared to other shop games.
