[SPOILERS] Possibly a bugged ending?

I finished the game for the first time, and had to choose if I'll give the green medicine to Thomas or Marianne. I chose Thomas. But the ending I got (escaping the island) said Marianne was riding the boat? So I reloaded and saved Marianne, got the same ending. Reloaded again, saved no one, and got the same ending again, but with a different image (a boat with two people on it, but without the villagers fighting the fishmen). Is it a bug or is it intended that no matter what, Marianne survives? I had max reputation and very high sanity, in case that affects the endings.

EDIT: Also, neither of those, nor the one with killing the priest had a voiceover. And it's not setting issue, the intro still has a voiceover. Another possible issue, if the voiceover was intended there?

The first problem is a bug that has just been fixed. The second one - i think the voiceover was never intended to be there.
