Mummy

I really struggle getting past the mummy chase event. Either I run the big round and get caught shortly before I reach the end point because of exhaustion (charakter doesn't run anymore) or I run back the floor or take any other direction and run directly into it.

I get the point of atmosphere and close escape, but compared to the previous part of the game this event is extremely annoying and difficult and after 4-5 attempts I close it everytime cause I'm so frustrated of not getting past it.

Is there any best practice or tip to finish it? I really want to go on with the story :|

seems that you have to run from them but not getting away too far, you must keep them close chasing you, otherwise, if one lose you it will take another way. you shouldn't run fast relentlessly.

Don't be afraid to stop and look back. As Artemur said, you need to make sure that the creature follows you.

Also, note that there are usually two creatures you're running away, so try to account for both.
