Radio Room Receiver

Whats the deal with the receiver in the radio room? It has all sorts of settings you can change, but I was never able to find anything that gave me signals to look for. Are there any signals in the game you can find? It does have a top selector, bottom selector, and 3 band with buttons.

There's a morse code cheat sheet on a pin board in the same room and you will receive a morse signal containing the right settings when you look at it
