Puzzle or Horror?
I love Lovecraft and good puzzle games, but I am kinda "meh" about horror games. Which one is it? Is it "Fully puzzle"/"more puzzle less horror"/"less puzzle more horror"/"fully horror"?

Well, it might help to know what you dislike about horror games.

Conarium _is_ a horror game, but it's Lovecraftian horror. Which means, the horror is more in the creepy atmosphere, and the feeling that you are a small, fragile, vulnerable, and insignificant human being dabbling with things that are way beyond your comprehension, things that could easily spell doom for humanity or at the very least for yourself. There are no jump scares, and it's also most definitely not a "shoot zombies with shotguns" type of horror game, if that's what you're afraid of.

In case it helps: Conarium focuses first and foremost on its narrative, which includes many details and references to Lovecraftian ideas. The puzzles come second, but they get more attention than any other gameplay element. Lastly, there are a few action sequences, but those aren't integral parts of the game.

Since you say you love Lovecraft and puzzles, I'd say you'll probably like most parts of Conarium. You might perhaps not enjoy the action scenes that much, but there are only a few of those, so it shouldn't be a show stopper for you.

All I needed to hear. I just hate jump scares, but love a good Lovecraftian atmosphere.

Had this game in my "back catalog" for ages and forgot what it was all about. Your post is even better explanation than the store page. Take that award :)

Just great atmosphere and music. Only had to run a couple times, short sequences before a transition. You might die the first time if you don't know to run, but you re-spawn in the same spot.
