I have no idea what your upgrades are or if you have bought Alliance Cruisers/ Mining Union Frigates so I will assume you have none of the above (except at least 3250 CP). All units should be placed as close as possible to turn 1 targets, except Sunrider which will be warping in turn 1. Paladin should be placed low to avoid Carrier flak.
Turn 1 (On VNmode):
Short range warp Sunrider to a hex directly to the right of the upper Ironhog. Pull Elite into hex between upper Battleship and upper Support using Gravity Gun. Vanguard Cannon all 6 units (upper Ironhog, upper Bomber, upper Assault Carrier, pulled Elite, upper Battleship, middle Battleship).
ShutOff Carrier and FlakOff lower Ironhog. Next, follow this sequence:
Phoenix (make sure she is within 6 hexes of upper Support) advances, melees and kills upper Support. Upper Elite killed with Sunrider missiles. Lower Battleship killed with Paladin kinetic (use Blackjack assault as finisher if need be). Lower Assault Cruiser killed with Sunrider kinetic and Blackjack pulse. Lowest Elite killed with Seraphim kinetic. 2nd lowest Elite killed with Blackjack missiles (use Paladin missiles as finisher if necessary). Lower Ironhog killed with Paladin missiles.
You should be left with a Carrier, a Bomber and a Support, which will do little damage to you. Next turn kill off the other Support with Phoenix and you should be good. Be aggressive. Warp back and use Liberty to repair Sunrider if low on hps.
This is of course the bare minimum assuming zero upgrades and zero extra ships, so things should definitely be easier if upgrades/merc ships are in play.
Good luck on your playthrough.
P/S - If you still rather not try the battle, here's the guide for enabling dev console:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=287107749
Shift + P = win the battle
BM.money = 9999999999
and hit enter and it should set your money to that value. there'll also be a dev cheat button in the top right which sets energy of all ships to 9999 and gives you a ton of command points. you can also do things like set sunrider.max_hp and/or set sunrider.base_armor to any value to make sunrider pretty much immune to anything.
