vndb has 2 votes up for playtime (from the Japanese version), one 13 hours and one 18 hours. This is only the time they recon pre-patch.

So it only says 30 minutes because that is without the patch? Good to know. I feared they might have resorted to butchering the work and selling it in small pieces for a gigantic prize. Considering the nature and artist of this, It might be reasonable to only expect there to be 30 minuttes left after they removed all the censored stuff lol

Shiravune specifies a similar duration for almost all games with patches. Probably so that there are no stupid negative reviews about the lack of content and the extremely short duration.
F.e. Valkyrie Destruction - "GAMEPLAY & FEATURES: |...| 30+ minutes of gameplay..."; Night Shift Nurses - "|...| 0.5+ hours of story" etc.

i played the JP version.
if you don't apply the patch, it means the amount of game that is like an empty shell.
i played it in the japanese version, but it's enough if play it in auto mode without skipping.
but it's a short game compared to other CLOCKUP games.

Without the patch the game will have minimal content. They have to be accurate to what you're actually getting when you buy it on Steam, or it would be false advertising.

Okay, what exactly does this patch do? People keep mentioning it, but not what it does. Add's a lot extra story or what? Is it X-rated patch material? Is it free?

Does someone knows if you can continue in the story without those scenes with the patch everyone talks about? Are choices optional? I want to rehabilitate villains too but not torture them if it's possible

Yes the patch is free and it's a H game so alot of the cut content is H scenes. They do it because steam is rather draconic with what visual novels get allowed.
