Second Secret Cave Location - where is it? (Solved)

Hi everyone,

now, since I have collected all the secrets from the first two episodes (mostly thanks to the walkthrough located here - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=630495858 - and its discussion board), I have decided to explore another secret cave for possible hidden stories. I know that it exists, because I discovered it during my first gameplay of episode two. I got a message about entering the cave for an experienced players but I didn´t feel like exploring at that time, so I went back to continue with a story. Now I forgot where that entrance was. An entrance to the first secret cave is in a room with 4 movable pillars , but cannot recall where is the second secret cave. It is definitely a part of episode 2.

Do any of you know where this location is?

I think you need to use Translocator device (Teleportation, sorry, but i like to call it in Unreal style:)) If i am correct - you need to find some of those usual 6-edges pillars which are looks like they are blocking some passageway somewhere further into caves/darkness. Exit from that big secret location is where we were wonder why we can't move that square stone with carvings in underground passages on 2-nd island (as i remember). Now we can move that stone and exit from that secret area.

I told you, Lifoux, I encountered that cave, but didn´t pay too much attention to it. My bad. I am missing the exact location. Could you help us?

p.s. I found that cave with almost no efforts. It "just fell into my lap" kind of a thing and I ignored it...sigh

I am sorry, but could you be more specific about it? Where is exactly the loaction with those pillars? Thanks.

As i remember there is a save device for sure right near this place. Also those pillars are not hidden so well - they are right near that save point in the 3rd cave. They looks like 3 bars which are just blocking way - they are looks like exactly bars/door - 3 or 4 or them are in the same height and seen passage behind it - not that usual mess of those pillars which we can see everywhere - just find save point and those strage pillars slightly further and left from it. Also that place is can be found in one of those walkthoughs here or maybe on YT. All you need - is to find that save point and secret Teleport/pillar entrance will be on very near just on left hand near it approx in 10-20 meters further into big cave. Sorry, i can't give more precise location because i did it once...

I think this is it. Near it shuld be save point and as we see there a space/passage behind pillars. Did you try to teleport behind them?

You bet I did, got from there a couple of secrets, went there a few times when looking for that entrance, but with no success. Do you remember how far from those pillars is that entrance? Or anything that could help me with finding it. Thanks.

p.s. You mentioned above that an exit from that cave is the area with another stone block which is locked/blocked from other side. In this case I would be on the right side to be able to unlock/unblock it. Is that correct?

You can try this: go in the 1st Cave, where you have those pushable stone blocks, and if what Vodkins says is true, then find the one which is not "open" (you already used one of them during the end of Ep 2). Then, crouch and fire behind you to go "through" the block, activate the switch and continue to walk along the corridor. After the loading screen, you will arrive into Cave 3 and you will be able to see where you are!

I already did that a few days ago (not knowing that it could be an exit from that cave) and I found a ladder going down. Went there and the game kicked me out to the main menu. That is why I asked him about that exit. I thought that would be an exit/enter to the 4th island, something like a shortcut.

p.s. But I never pressed that button inside the room. I didn´t want to mess up with a savegame as it wasn´t meant to be pressed on in present game status...

Edit: He also told me to look out for some YT walkthrough here on Steam Community page. The only walkthroughs, that I know of, are your secrets walkthroughs, but you said you didn´t find it. Go figure...
