Tips to get better FPS?

Ok just bought the game played 50 min(i'm so far pleased with the game) so for now any desent review sorry no change, have to play more before Judgement Day;)

Im getting around 30fps when slider is on 200% and 1440p resolution have most on ultra.

i7 3770k OC 4,2 ghz
AMD 290x 4gb
16gb DDR 3 1600
OS Win 10 64bit

How do i get better fps but have still nice graphics(when lower slider under 200% graphics fastly go to not so nice).

Any tips?

The resolution slider which I assume is the one at 200%, is super heavy. There is no real way around making that run faster other than raw hardware power. Of all the options I could tell you that you can turn down, the slider is actually the one that would have the least impact on how the game looks, and the biggest impact on the the FPS.

Yup, I got mine set at max (resolution 400%) get about 20 FPS. Makes the sky look better with TONS of stars but yeah just turn your "resolution" slider down. and just to show you how much that slider affects you, remember I'm getting roughly about 15-20 fps with that slider at max 400% and all ultra settings.

Nah fool, it's just the UE4 engine, work in it and you'll findout. It's free, they will take %5 of your ♥♥♥♥ in market.

Not a bad deal though for a full game engine. Love the hearts for $hit word though stupid steam, can't even just say anything like it is ...... Freedom ofspeech is banned pffft, nvm not gonna say anymore be banned on community for my thoughts.... already fought those idiot copy paster steam idiots before for a screenshot on my profile from Mafia 2 ... THUMBS up on the game so far though! Keep up the good work guys.

Personally i run 120% all settings on ultra @ 2560x1440 and get constant 60fps other than opening the door to windmill anyone else chug there btw?.

There are console commands and ini files to edit but i dont know any commands as i run above settings without changing anything but im sure one of the Devs will chime in with afew helpfuls :).

Do u mind gaming under 60fps ?, i would be inclined to set slider 100% set all settings to high and see what kinda frame rate u get and maybe in 10%-15% increments push slider up until framerate bogs.

Dunno if your talking to me but usually all my games are locked at 60 fps with Vsync but no this game don't mind too much, but yeah if you talking to me again, I'll try it later on resolution 100% see what I get . This is the only game I get lower FPS on but again I maxed out the res. to 400% so my doing. ARK used to be bad like that but they optimizing it slowly and I run it on all epic settings get about 45-50 FPS and both games use the UE4 engine so. I'll lower the ♥♥♥♥ tomorrow, been drinking tonight and gonna lay down with my girl and watch a movie no more games tonight....

Sorry man it was meant for OP my bad, but sure give it a bash in fact looking at your specs very similar to mine so try my settings if u want constant 60fps and if u got more juice in the tank pop slider to 140% maybe.

Changed some things in my AMD crimson game settings and now i have around 55fps @ 1440p with slider at 120% rest ultra so much better
