Base building
So i read thru a bit of what the games about and i have a few questions

does this game elements like building a base? like in other survival games , Or to an extent like in OSIRIS : new dawn ?

Doesn't have base building. Everything you craft is in your inventory for surviving various perils like extreme heat or cold, hunger, thirst. I still recommend the game purely for it's exploration and creepy atmosphere.

Base building would not make sense in this game. It is all about progressing the story with the hopes of saving humanity.

It is not just wandering. That is exactly what makes Solus special and different. This is not a game about doing the same gathering or mining tasks over and over, or fighting the same enemies over and over without clear goals or objectives.

Solus is a game that is about the story, and the world. The world is huge and has 18 hours worth of unique and hand built areas to explore. For that reason there is no base building. It is about the adventure, the journey. Staying on one place to build a camp would go against that.

not really , i dont know why developers assume that automaticly .

base building actually adds allot to the gameplay and rp value which isnt a niche market anymore.

also there can be ways to force a person to abandon and salvage a base at somepoint and move on to better locations to perform tasks and have a safe heaven too

but either ways ill give it a shot sometime down the line i guess .
inventory. please allow us to aim with controllers rather than heads, and make the menu open from clicking and closing from clicking again, to me the grip buttons are somewhat strange positioned buttons, maybe my hands are unco i dont know, i find it hard to press the grip while using most functions at the same time

When I see "basebuilding" topic I think of Command&Conquer, thus airstrikes and reinforcements follow, but I guess this time it is some particular case with this newgaming approach. Or something.

Well, to be fair, once "base building" is added, the next logical request (read: demand) from players is for PvP, so considering the vision of the game, I think the devs are really just nipping in the bud so to speak. Adding MP is a whole 'nother kind of animal when it comes to development, and I appreciate the time they have spent handcrafting the single player experience. I applaud their decision to resist the urge to crank out a sci-fi ARK: Survival clone. Not saying it would be bad; just that everybody needs their niche, and Solus fits quite nicely in theirs.

We dont need base building thrown into every single "survival" game.

It wouldn't fit what this game is, which is a linear exploration game.
Why exactly would you want base building in this? So you can sit on the first island and eat/drink/sleep for hours on end?
