The Terminal 2

The Terminal 2

Anyone know anything about this game or this Dev?
I had a chuckle reading their features, aside from the funny grammar, they list the weirdest things.

Is this going to be the typical "tycoon" crapware release or is there anything to this game?

Thanks hopefully you will like it. You mentioned that good tycoons are rare nowadays. Can you mention some that you liked I am curious... :)

Monopoly Tycoon, Capitalism 2, Locomotion, Sid Meier's Railroads, Industry Giant series.

There were some old tycoon games on the Amiga too - Air Bucks and Detroit.

In my opinion the best tycoon games are the multiplayer ones that let you compete with a friend to make the most money and compete with each other. Monopoly Tycoon is really cool.

I don't bother with all the single player ones. Air Bucks looks kind of similar to this game. In Air Bucks each player (and computer AI player) controlled their own airline and bought and built planes. You would try to fly on the most profitable routes and compete with each other to make money and improve your planes and set the passenger and goods prices. Set too high and you get very few customers.

As someone said above it is a real shame that GOOD tycoon games have died a death or resulted in very basic single player versions (e.g. Airline Tycoon) or horrible mobile phone games.

JoWood used to make many good Tycoon type games but unfortunately they closed up. :(

I am working on a new edition The Terminal 3 already making so many new features and a much better graphics coming in 2015.

While I appreciate your honesty and dedication, why would I want to buy Teminal 2 if 3 is so much better and coming out in a year?

In order to support a better future product. In order to suggest features you might want to see improved. Perhaps your just craving a strategy game and want something different. It's not like your investing in an MMO and setting aside 12 months to play before they pull the plug either.

This game sounds interesting, but my vid card is only 64MB, which is below system requirements. Oh well :(

On the contrary brother, try this free airline management game. It's not very graphical, but it is loaded with realism and data for just about every airport, airplane, etc.

The original is a mobile title you can google/tube it.

This one does not look radically different graphically and if it retains the mobile focus'd features like timers, energy bars, special currency and sodding items to "tap" and collect ... well lets just say he chose the wrong platform so I am desperately hoping it is not the case cause i am a sucker for tycoon games.

They go this way and he wonders why the sales are low, perhaps it is time to look outside the "modern" tycoon crapware that they shovel and make something proper.
I would like a successor to "Airline Tycoon 1" and so far NO ONE has made a worthy successor.

Tigerfish: do you remember the old game called MAD TV? That was my favourite ever :-)

Played that a lot. Was awesome. Other than that I liked Industry Giant, Transport Giant, Railroad Tycoon, OpenTTD, Theme Hospital, Theme Park, Port of Call, Oil Imperium on the C64, Mad News. And those aren't even all, I am sure I forgot some. With X I switched to Space Game Business Management and also City Building like Sim City and Tropico. As I said, this genre died off hard at one point and people just stopped making good business sims.

edit: Oh yeah, Stronghold, Airline Tycoon, Capitalism and Vermeer just came to my mind too.

Another edit: The Guild!!! Awesome medevil business simulation!

Question! Why not just make one game and just update it with better graphics and features?

He kinda needs to make a living, and he wont be doing that by giving away patches, will he?

Did you consider that the engine might be different as well?

You seriously need a PC upgrade, 64MB vid cards? Thats 15 years ago, I remember because I was in my final year of highschool with a voodo5500 card.
The Space Ferret 11/ago./2014 às 8:50
Don't need one. My main PC is much more powerful than my laptop, but my monitor broke and I can't afford a new one for some time, so I am stuck with the laptop for now. This was my dad's laptop, and he got a new one so he gave me this one. It's a decent laptop, except the vid card is awful.

I can play this on my PC obviously, but I can't use it.

So it seems a dead topic however I am still here if wonder. So I was wondering when The Terminal 3 will be out that this older version will be updated for the new one because you guys supported the project from really early stages. I can understand that there are bugs and Steam players really like good games but I develop the whole game myself and it takes lots of time for even finding a bug reproducing it and making a fix. Sorry for that.
ASMR gaming 24/set./2015 às 14:29
good to hear, the only thing i can suggest is when u put the next new game out that u fix as many bugs as possible with post release support, and then it should continue to be a good title going forward
